It is our customer service commitment to deal quickly and efficiently with any customer dissatisfaction resulting from a purchase at Midwest Mattress. The manufacturer’s warranty covers any defects in the product; it does not however cover comfort issues. The most common warranty claim is for excessive body impressions (over 1 1⁄2’ on innerspring and 3⁄4” on all foam beds typically). Please make sure that the piece in question is free of stains (as a stain will void the manufacturer’s warranty) and if it is proceed to submitting a claim.
If you have any questions or need a copy of your receipt please call any of our locations and speak with a sleep expert. All claims can be handled via the internet or phone so you don’t need to go into the showroom if you don’t want to. Once a piece is deemed defective you will be given a credit equal to the purchase price of the piece to go into our showroom and reselect. You do not have to get the current equivalent of the defective piece. If a warranty claim is denied by the manufacturer please contact Midwest Mattress and we will see if there is something else we can do to in house to keep our customers happy!
In order to accurately and quickly process your request, we will need you to fill in the following information from the law tags of both your mattress and box spring, even if you are claiming service on only one. Please locate the law tags of both your mattress and box spring. (Law tags can be found attached to the head or foot of the piece)
If your law tag is missing, please locate the manufacturer’s label on the flat side of the piece or use the bill of sale and fill in the model name and size.
If your mattress has large body impressions, please measure the deepest one in the following manner:
1 - Place a string tightly across the bed.
2 - Place a ruler in the deepest point and note its depth.
If your bedding is making noise, remove the mattress and box spring from the bed frame. Check the frame by pushing down in several locations to locate the noise. If the noise can not be located, replace the box spring on the frame and repeat the test. Finally, replace the mattress and repeat the test.
